Our History
Ptinek Ltd, was established in 1991, by Dr Panicos Papasolomontos, a very prominent poultry veterinarian internationally, to provide the best quality day-old broiler chicks to the poultry farming businesses of Cyprus and the surrounding countries.
Dr Panicos Papasolomontos had previously, and for many years, serviced these industries in Cyprus, Greece, Eastern Europe as well as the Far East as the senior field veterinarian of one of the major, global broiler breeder companies. He had earlier graduated from the Royal Veterinary School, of the University of London where he also gained his PhD in poultry pathology.
The legacy of Dr Panikos Papasolomontos has been passed down to the new Papasolomontos generation who follow in his footsteps and maintain his vision of providing top-quality day-old chicks of the highest health status.
